The Space
Originally built in 1863 as a Welsh church, this renovated property sits within the Maldon Goldfields. The luxurious two-bedroom light-filled retreat makes is a fantastic location for photography stills, TV and videos and events hosting.
The original soaring timber ceilings have been beautifully maintained with cap white-painted walls and solid timber floors. Large church windows have been detailed with blue frames, allowing light to flood into all of the spaces. The main space comprises a dining and a kitchen area, with contemporary bathrooms and two bedrooms set toward the back of the building. Modern, minimalist Scandinavian furnishings, Bedouin Societe Linen, Aspar bath products and a Jotul Wood Fire create a luxurious feel in this vast space. A paved outdoor area has been created to allow for warm night entertaining.
