Built in 1887 out of the nearby Mount Arapiles stone, this historic beauty has been lovingly restored. Located 3.5hrs from Melbourne in the township of Natimuk, this location provides a touch of rustic luxury with immaculate interiors in a unique historical rural Australian setting. Featuring matte and low sheen bright white walls, beautiful interiors featuring Australian made cast iron beds, solid brass furniture and tap hardware and an original lead-light window featuring Mount Arapiles, this location is filled with loads of character. All rooms have been furnished with antique touches and Afghan rugs bring warmth to many spaces throughout.
Outside you will find a rustic landscape and vistas, perfect for capturing the quintessential Australian rural vibe and natural native surrounds. The heated pool and large concrete alfresco area with rustic pergola are surrounded by stone walls and 140-year-old fig trees. These stunning stone walls, which are a feature not only externally but are also on show inside much of the house, provide the perfect and unique back drop for shoots or period productions.
