The Space
This light-filled little studio space is nestled in the industrial area of Mermaid Beach. With 80 sqm of usage space it is the perfectly imperfect with its simple white backdrop, exposed industrial ceiling and concrete floors. Two large roller doors provide plenty of opportunity for natural light to flow in throughout the day.
Golden hour hits in the afternoon, creating the perfect setting for shoots. This studio includes: bathroom (also can be used as a change room) air conditioned kitchenette & fridge, 2 couches, various tables, plinths and mirrors, lounge chairs and 2 large standing mirrors.

Special conditions
Kitchenette and bathroom: Access to these areas are included in your booking; however, no access is permitted in the joining studio (private business) or middle/backroom section.
Parking: Please park either in Cronulla Avenue or Karen Avenue being mindful to avoid driveways as most businesses operate 7 days per week. If you require more than one parking space there is parking available at Pacific Square (where Soak, Lifeline etc is) - walkway to our studio is located next to Do or Dye Hairdressers. No parking is permitted in the laneway adjacent to the studio unless discussed or approved by an IQ Studio member.
Studio Security: Studio must be securely locked in accordance with the instructions issued to the person who made the booking.
Neighbouring Businesses: Please no loitering outside other businesses (CCTV in use).
Suppliers: Unless arranged and approved by a member of our team, please no catering/party planners/photoshoot items to be dropped off earlier than the allocated time of your booking.
Non-moveable items: Large standing mirrors, curtains and statues. To ensure the safety of our team, if any non-moveable items are moved a $220 removalist fee will be issued. If any non-moveable items are broken or damaged a fee of $600 will apply.
Studio Care: We understand general marks on things can occur when moving about in the studio, however, any marks or stains we deem excessive, a cleaning/restoration fee of $180.00 will apply if any furniture pieces are stained or marked. This includes but is not limited to all lounges, chairs, curtains etc.
Furry Friends: Although we are huge animal lovers, to preserve our studio we have to say sorry, no pets allowed.
Covid-19 Requirements: Booking holder must abide by the current Queensland Government Covid-19 guidelines. IQ Studio is not liable for any issued infringements, penalties or other law enforced orders whilst under an agreement with a hiree.
Time Requirements: Access to RŌŌM Studio commences from the start of the allocated booking time. Please ensure you adhere to the agreed times. Please be mindful of other bookings surrounding your hire time. If booking runs over time there may be a fee charged.
