    A Perfect Space is hiring a Location Manager for our Sydney office.

  • Financial Analyst

    A Perfect Space is currently seeking a Financial Analyst to join our team.

    A Perfect Space is a technology marketplace that connects the production industry with production ready locations and services.

    Reporting to the CFO, the role presents a great opportunity for an experienced financial analyst responsible for the financial reporting, AP/AR management, cash flow, business planning and accounts integrity for the Australian and New Zealand businesses. This is a part-time role with a view to be converted to a full-time position as the company steps into next phase of revenue growth.

    The role of Financial Analyst is suited to an individual who is looking for a responsibility which will enable them to influence key operational leaders and guide them through the provision of relevant data and analysis to enable strategic decision making. It is also suited to someone who is looking for a role that will have them to step up to deliver the best outcomes for the business, whilst experiencing the challenges that pave the way to progress for being a financial leader for the organization.

    The role will

    • Be responsible for financial modelling, analytics and forecasting of revenue and expenditure & prepare monthly business reports, including profit & loss and working capital;

    • Prepare and own efforts for business plan and long-term strategic plans;

    • Help develop and drive continuous improvement of Finance policies, processes and systems;

    • Ensure the organizational data integrity and accuracy required for financial reporting, through education of the commercial teams on good accounting practices;

    • Deliver support to the business to facilitate profitable and sustainable growth through analyzing actuals versus forecast/budget and identifying key drivers of performance;

    • Oversee accounts receivables and accounts payables with customers and vendors;

    • Assist with the month-end closing process.

    Why you’re perfect for the role

    • Well-developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate with influence at all levels and build positive working relationships;

    • Experience working in technology platforms, such as Xero and Stripe;

    • Thorough knowledge of accounts payable and general ledger systems;

    • Ability to translate data into presentations/reports;

    • Advanced Excel, Powerpoint, Word;

    • Strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of accounting principles;

    • The ability to multi task and work in a fast-paced environment;

    • A commercial accounting or finance background with FP&A related experience;

    • Production or media industry experience preferred but not necessary.

  • Laravel Developer

    A Perfect Space is currently seeking a Laravel Developer to join our team.

    At A Perfect Space we are the first locations-as-a-service company using AI/ML to connect the production industry with production ready locations and services. As part of our next phase of growth we are searching for a Laravel developer to build and enhance web applications for our company. In this role, you will design and create projects using Laravel framework and PHP, and ensure the delivery of high-quality web applications, services, and tools for our business.

    To ensure success as a Laravel developer you should be adept at utilizing Laravel's GUI and be able to design a PHP application from start to finish. A top-notch Laravel developer will be able to leverage their expertise and experience of the framework to independently produce complete solutions in a short turnaround time.

    Laravel Developer Responsibilities

    • Discussing project aims with internal and external stakeholder.

    • Designing and building web applications using Laravel (Laravel Nova a plus).

    • Troubleshooting issues in the implementation and debug builds.

    • Working with front-end and back-end developers on projects.

    • Testing functionality for users and the backend.

    • Ensuring that integrations run smoothly.

    • Scaling projects based on client feedback.

    • Recording and reporting on work done in Laravel.

    • Maintaining web-based applications.

    • Presenting work in meetings with clients and management.

    Laravel Developer Requirements

    • A degree in programming, computer science, or a related field.

    • 4 to 6 years of team-based experience working with PHP, performing unit testing, and managing APIs such as REST.

    • A solid understanding of application design and implementation using Laravel.

    • Knowledge of database design and querying using SQL.

    • Proficiency in HTML and JavaScript.

    • Practical experience using the MVC architecture.

    • A portfolio of applications and programs to your name.

    • Experience with agile software development methodology and use of tools such as Jira and Confluence

    • Problem-solving skills and critical mindset.

    • Great communication skills.

    • The desire and ability to learn.

    Additional Experience a Plus

    • Vue.js or other javascript frameworks

    • MySQL or PostgreSQL

    • AWS

    • Git and CI/CD

    • Third-party integrations (i.e. Stripe, HubSpot, etc.)
