The space
"We could be in Tuscany!" All of our guests exclaim this when sitting in our established olive grove and look through the Cabernet Sauvignon vines up the hill to the white Italian Villa overlooking its estate. The Villa has wrought iron balconies, internal staircase and chandeliers; vineyard views, tall pines, hedges, topiaries, lemon trees, vegetable gardens, pencil pines taller than the house; and all is surrounded by the Scenic Rim mountain range. The site is 870 metres above sea level hence gets clouds rolling into the valley, visible ice frosts and full autumn colours and of course the full 4 seasons for the vineyard, hence it is located here and makes an award winning 100% Merlot Rosé. There is a successful bistro and cellar door, wood fired pizza bar, marquee almost hidden by an old hedge, a secret garden and granite white collumned portico to view it all from. There is abundant room to park and turn trucks and trailers, land helicopters and store containers for short periods. There is a permanent creek flowing from the beautful Springbrook as well as a pool. Alpacas, chickens, wessex saddelback pig and mini horse complete our working farm.
